Pledges to bring a new generation of leadership, vitality and positive change to City Hall

January 2, 2018

Today I am happy to announce my candidacy for Tamarac City Commissioner, District 4.  A little about me:

I am originally from New Hampshire. It was there that I first learned the value of hard work, growing up in a blue-collar family.  My dad, a Korean war veteran, started his own iron works manufacturing company and eventually made that a very successful business and managed to raise four kids along the way.  Following in his footsteps, I started and continue to run a very successful psychotherapy private practice in Broward County, helping residents address mental health and substance abuse issues.  I am married to a wonderful man, Noel, and we live in a beautiful corner of Tamarac with our three cats.

Now it’s time to bring my track record of business and personal success to the residents of District 4 and Tamarac.  There are three areas that will be my laser beam focus: smart business growth, efficient government and building community.

I will aggressively advocate for helping Tamarac grow its business community.  With the proper leadership, we can attract more and diverse businesses to Tamarac.

Whether it is reducing taxes, addressing the long-delayed Woodmont Development Project or reigning in wasteful spending, I will be a champion for the people of District 4.  It’s time for the City Commission to stop treating the taxpayers’ money as if it’s their own personal piggy bank.

As the face of Tamarac changes and becomes more diverse, I will work to ensure that we not only embrace but attract and encourage diversity. That will only make our community stronger.

This is an exciting time.  This will be an exciting campaign!  There is no problem that Tamarac faces that we cannot overcome together. I humbly ask for your support as we Move Tamarac Forward!
